For Good Measure

Things and doing

by Colby Russell. 2021 February 13.

If I don't have the time budget to Do The Thing, it doesn't make sense for you to assume that the budget exists to have a conversation about Doing The Thing, where I describe how I would do it if I did have the time.

(This shouldn't be difficult to understand. Think about the amount of time each would take. If the cost of the latter is the same or greater than the cost of former, then...?)

This seems pretty basic to the point that I'd think it should go without saying. It's abundantly, frustratingly clear to me, though, that for some people, it does need saying—which of course is a problem, since there is no time for it.

Hopefully this explanation helps. Most likely, though? It won't.
